In the UAE, Sembcorp co-owns a combined power and desalination plant in Fujairah. We also provide operations and maintenance to the plant. The plant employs dual media filtration (pre-treatment), 2-pass seawater reverse osmosis and multi-stage flash technologies. With a capacity of 100 million imperial gallons (455,000 cubic metres) per day, the desalination plant is the largest hybrid desalination plant in the world |
